Aloha! Allow me to introduce myself while you browse through some of my work.

Several years ago after surviving a traumatic childhood, followed by an unsuccessful marriage, then an unsettling divorce, and, a less than impressive stint as a single mom, I decided it was time to do something positive and returned to school. Three years afterwards I graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree during the Christmas Holidays.

Although I can boast of a strong background in advanced math and science, the not so intelligent side of my brain instead chose to concentrate in visual arts, lol! It has been a long road traveled to finding success. One which has also proven itself beneficial to my growth as both a person and an artist.

While finishing my undergraduate degree I apprenticed with a newly established stain glass small business where I put my science, engineering, and math background to good use. It was during this time I sketched a design for what soon became a long-term goal of building a vertical stain glass chess board with lightweight hand sculpted clay game pieces. It was also during this stage of developing myself as a master stain glass craftsman that I learned how to drill holes in glass without cracking or breaking it.

My graduation gift to myself was to put an ocean between me and my painful history. So, I accepted a job offer as a private artists’ museum curator|shopkeeper and relocated to beautiful Big Island, Hawai’i, where I additionally expanded my skills with stain glass 3D construction as well as functionality. For instance I’ve got some ideas about how to design a retractable multi-pane window for a yurt; but am stuck at how to ensure an adequate weight support system. My skills are respectable. I myself am still a work in progress.

Although there are no photos currently available of my home sidelight, cabinet inserts, and fireplace screen creations, I bring you experience. I do both small and large repairs. As well, I can be contracted for antique panel stain glass window repairs; however large window installations are beyond my purvue. A professionalist installer is recommended for any large window designs created with then constructed by me. Thank you for reviewing my work and portfolio.
